No experience required. Minimum age is 8 years of age. On the Upper Pigeon you will experience some of the best white water in the area. Cherokee Lake -

Big South Fork -
The Big South Fork National River and Recreation area is renowned for its excellent horseback riding, with miles and miles of mountainous trails offering breathtaking beauty, abundant wildlife, mountain streams, and beautiful rock formations. The Big South Fork National River and Recreation area has 80 miles of river for white water rafting, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and swimming.
Horseback riding is one of the most popular activities at the Big South Fork, with hundreds of miles of horse trails available throughout the Big South Fork. Big South Fork encompasses approximately 125,000 acres of both rugged forested gorge and adjacent forested plateaus.
This is a wonderful place to enjoy the river, do some hiking, camping , hunting, horseback riding or just sight seeing.
